Mementote is an audio app built on a single constraint: a recording only plays back within the radius of where it was made. You leave a memory at a place. You — or whoever you leave it for — has to physically return to hear it.
No feed. No scroll. You go to the memory. That's the product.
The constraint is the moat. Because a recording is tied to a place, the product is:
Local by default — every recording is somewhere real, not a file in a cloud.
Social without a feed — you leave things for specific people, at specific places; they claim them by showing up.
Defensible — a machine in a room learns that room: its voices, its birds, the songs that play there. It gets sharper in that place than any generic app can. The place is the data.
