Mementote season agreement

Working draft. The terms are Mementote’s; the wording has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and the season’s dates and the licence end date may change before anyone is asked to sign.

Licence end date: Aug 31, 2028
Minimum recorded shows: 8

You own your recordings. Every recording of your shows made and placed through Mementote belongs to you. Nothing in this page transfers ownership.
What you let Mementote do. You give Mementote a licence to place each recording in the room where it was made and to promote it, for the season and until the licence end date below. The licence is not exclusive. Mementote does not sell the recordings, does not use them to train AI models, and does not play them anywhere but the place they were made, except for short previews you can switch off.
You can pull a recording. You can pull any recording at any time from your studio. A pulled recording stops playing for everyone but you.
The audience. A recording with audience members who can be seen or clearly heard is placed only if you confirm they were told and agreed. You mark this on each recording. If you can't confirm it, the recording stays visible to you alone.
What you commit to. You record at least the minimum number of shows below during the season, in your regular room, and you say from the stage at each show that the set is being left in the room.
What Mementote commits to. Someone from Mementote, or a person we have trained, is in the room on show nights to make sure the set gets placed and plays back. Your shows go on the season calendar at no charge.
Ending it. Either of us can end this agreement in writing. Recordings already placed stay placed until the licence end date unless you pull them.
